Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist specializing in lymphedema to evaluate, plan, and implement skilled therapy for diverse patient needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective discharge planning and evidence-based interventions.

You’ll contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and teamwork, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certified Occupational Therapist in the State of Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized occupational therapy services for patients with lymphedema.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and functional independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and home programs.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and hospital initiatives.
