Job summary

IU Health's Frankfort Hospital is seeking a Lymphedema certified Physical Therapist to join its team. The role focuses on restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing disability through expert manual therapy and individualized exercise programs, delivered in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctoral or equivalent PT degree, an active Indiana license, and Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Requires a Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016. If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
• Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels.
• Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students.
• Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
