Lansdowne Animal Hospital in Leesburg, VA seeks an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to support outpatient care and surgical services, including anesthesia and dentistry. You will move between exam rooms and procedure areas, maintain detailed patient records, and educate clients with compassion.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician in Virginia with current good standing is required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of veterinary technician experience or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia, dentistry, radiography, and client communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist in surgery and dental procedures including radiography.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients.
• Identify patient concerns and support cross-hospital case management.
• Educate clients and build strong relationships through communication.
