Angels of Assisi in Roanoke, VA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our mission-driven team. You will support a busy clinic with five veterinarians, providing high‑quality care to companion animals and shelter pets.

Schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, Friday and a focus on teamwork and client communication. This role offers a diverse caseload with opportunities to expand skills in radiography, ultrasound, and nursing procedures, in a collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
• Experience in high-volume spay/neuter setting is preferred.
• Strong technical and patient-handling skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a high-volume spay/neuter clinic.
• Perform and assist with digital radiographs, ultrasounds, blood draws, and lab procedures.
• Patient monitoring and nursing care.
• Support with emergency cases and court cases.
• Provide care for adoption center animals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communication.

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) – Community Pet Clinic

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our mission-driven veterinary team. Our clinic is dedicated to improving access to quality veterinary care while supporting animal welfare throughout the community.

This position offers a diverse caseload and opportunities to expand your technical skills in a collaborative environment with 5 veterinarians and an experienced support team.

Position Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Responsibilities

• Assist in a high-volume spay/neuter clinic
• Perform and assist with:
  • Digital radiographs (x-rays)
  • Ultrasounds
  • Blood draws and laboratory procedures
  • Patient monitoring and nursing care
• Support with emergency cases, court cases
• Provide care support for the organization’s adoption center animals
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communication
