Job summary

HAN Staff seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Soledad, CA to provide direct patient care under RN or physician supervision. Pay rate is $47/hour on a W2 basis, with a 7am-3:30pm shift on Mondays and Tuesdays in Medical OT-8HR class.

The successful candidate will hold a CA LVN license, have at least 1 year of LVN experience, and provide PSV and required certifications (BLS, TB, immunizations). Care will be documented in the EMR, with emphasis on safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Current, valid CA license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent LVN experience.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copies of required certifications (e.g., BLS, TB test, immunization records).

Responsibilities

Shift Details:

• Area: Medical OT-8HR Class: LVN Shift:7am-3:30pm Mon./Tues ONLY

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
