Job summary

Waterman Canyon Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team in California. The LVN provides direct nursing care, administers medications, and supports quality outcomes per physician orders and care plans.

Must hold an active California LVN license; 1 year of nursing experience preferred, ideally in skilled nursing or post-acute settings. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly.
• Document care, treatments, and observations in the medical record.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
