Job summary

Scripps Health's Torrey Pines clinic is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a benefited, full-time position with an 8-hour day shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The LVN will perform patient assessments, educate patients and families, and uphold infection control to ensure high-quality care within their scope of practice.

• Current LVN license in the state of California.
• Ability to perform emergency procedures.
• Strong patient communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families and document patient interactions.
• Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
