Job summary

Scripps Health seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse for the Torrey Pines location. This full-time role (80 hours per pay period) operates 8:00am–5:00pm in our Scripps Clinic – Torrey Pines, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on high-quality patient care.

You will perform patient assessments, educate families, administer medications, and maintain infection control standards in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Current California LVN license.
• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families and document patient interactions.
• Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
