Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health in El Paso, TX is seeking an LVN Treatment Nurse to support the daily operations of the Adult Day Care Center under the Clinic Manager. You will monitor skin integrity, provide treatments per plan, educate participants and families, and document care in the medical record.

The role requires Texas LVN licensure and at least one year of experience in treatment with frail or elderly populations, with potential for cross-training and growth within the program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a license to practice in Texas as a Vocational Nurse.
• One year of experience in treatment with frail or elderly population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatments as per physician orders.
• Provide supplies to participants and caregivers for treatments done at home.
• Motivate participants to maximize independence and maintain skill levels and encourage participation in the center's program.
• Document in participants' charts all treatments administered in center.
• Assist Clinic Manager in maintaining adequate nursing supplies.
• Provide patient care under supervision of Clinic Manager or Physician.
• Attend monthly clinic meetings as necessary.
• Cross-train to provide coverage for medication nurse as needed.
• Maintain wound care log and wound care checklist.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager.

Since 1987, Bienvivir has served the frail seniors of El Paso, Texas through the provision of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly ("PACE").

PACE is a unique managed care benefit for frail seniors (referred to as participants) age 55 and older who are certified by the state as needing nursing home level care and who reside in a PACE service area. PACE programs coordinate and provide comprehensive medical and support services so that participants can remain independent and stay in their homes for as long as safely possible.

LVN Treatment Nurse

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, the LVN Treatment Nurse assists in the dailyoperation of the medical component of the Adult Day Care Center. The LVN Treatment Nurse’sduties include monitoring and maintaining skin integrity, health education of participants andfamilies, the provision of treatments as per the treatment plan and as ordered by the Physician'sdocumentation in the medical record.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. Provide treatments as per physician orders.
• 2. Provide supplies to participants and caregivers for treatments done at home.
• 3. Motivate participants to maximize independence and maintain skill levels and encourage fullparticipation in centers program.
• 4. Document in participants' charts all treatments administered in center.
• 5. Assist Clinic Manager in the maintenance of adequate nursing supplies required fortreatments in the center, as well as those done at place of residence.
• 6. Provide patient care as appropriate and under the supervision of the Clinic Manager or thePhysician.
• 7. Participate in morning meetings as necessary.
• 8. Cross train to provide coverage for medication nurse as needed.
• 9. Attend monthly clinic meeting.
• 10. Maintain the wound care log and wound care checklist.
• 11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
