Job summary

The nurse will implement school health policies, conduct screenings, and coordinate care with families and staff to support a safe, healthy learning environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
• Valid registered nurse license to practice in Texas
• CPR / AED / First Aid certification
• Certified by Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening
• Type 2 Diabetes Risk Assessment screening certificate

Experience

Preferably Two years of nursing experience, preferably in school or community health
