Job summary

Sharp HealthCare Clinic seeks an attentive Licensed Vocational Nurse to perform individualized nursing care under RN supervision. You will collect data, participate in planning, and implement the Plan of Care while ensuring patient education and safety.

Requirements include CA LVN license and BLS certification; IV therapy training within 6 months is expected. This full-time role is on-site in Coronado, with shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and union guidance under SEIU.

Qualifications

• Must hold California LVN license and BLS certification.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals is required.
• IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care under RN supervision.
• Document data and communicate with the RN for care planning.
• Coordinate patient care with the team and schedule follow-ups.
• Educate patients and families about the Plan of Care and treatments.
