Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Emeryville is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delivering skilled nursing services per orders on each assignment.

Requirements include an LVN license in the practicing state, current TB or chest X-ray, and a current BLS card. At least one year of nursing experience is preferred, with competitive pay and benefits

Qualifications

• Currently licensed LVN in the state of practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care on each assignment per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document health data and nursing diagnoses.
