Maxim Healthcare in Monterey, CA seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide in-home skilled nursing care for pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, performing prescribed orders, and monitoring patient changes. Current CA LVN license and BLS required; TB test/Chest X-Ray and prior nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• LVN license to practice in CA.
• TB test or chest X-ray current.
• BLS certification current.
• One year nursing experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Education
