Job summary

Liberty Healthcare is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians for a per diem weekend position at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Riverside County, CA.

You will provide basic nursing care to inmates, administer IV and oral medications, educate on health matters, document health status, and collaborate with security staff to ensure high quality services. Work weekends, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, onsite at the facility.

Job description

Licensed Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians are encouraged to consider a per diem weekend position with Liberty Healthcare’s mental health program at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility – a Riverside County jail.

This program provides mental health evaluation and treatment services to adults who are justice-involved and experiencing mental illness.

Work setting

You will work onsite at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility at 1627 S. Hargrave Street in Banning, CA 92220.

Schedule

• You will work per diem (as needed) primarily on weekends
• Work hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay

$30.00 to $36.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)
