Wellpath is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) in a correctional care setting. The role supports patient care, data collection, and nursing activities under supervision, with emphasis on compassionate, compliant practice.

Experience of 1+ year preferred; current LPN/LVN licensure in the state, CPR, and eligibility to work in the United States are required. This PRN position includes shifts and holiday coverage, with opportunities for growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state employed.
• 1+ year clinic experience preferred.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning per Nursing Practice Act and policies.
• Administer medications and implement medical plans as directed by the Health Care Practitioner.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety per established protocols.
• Implement nutrition/diet plans and assist in procedures as needed.
• Document nursing encounters and communicate with healthcare staff.
