Job summary

Qualifications

Current LVN license in Texas.
Familiar with basic nursing performance standards per Texas Nurse Practice Act.
Commitment to STHS Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; attend required training.
Preferred: one year FT or three years PT clinical experience.
Education/Licensure: TX LVN license; current BLS; various certifications as unit needs.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care and nursing procedures under RN supervision.
Interacts with hospital staff/departments regarding patient care and conflicts; assists in resolutions.
Maintains clinical performance skills and complies with hospital policies.
May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, and on-call as needed.
Contributes to Service Excellence standards at all times.
