Job summary

Varco Home Health in Texas is seeking a PRN Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide in-home nursing visits on a one-on-one basis. You’ll follow the plan of care, perform skilled tasks, and educate patients and families to support independence and comfort.

This role offers flexible scheduling, field-based work, and meaningful patient-focused care in the Lubbock area. A Texas LVN license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to patient needs.
• Reliable transportation & driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled in-home nursing visits based on the plan of care
• Perform vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and catheter care
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, safety, and disease management
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with the care team
