Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to deliver direct nursing care within their behavioral health setting. The nurse will supervise non-licensed staff and ensure care standards are followed on the unit.

Qualified candidates hold a California LVN or LPT license, CPR/First Aid, and have competency in nursing theory with a preference for mental health experience. On-call shifts (AM, PM, NOC) are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to clients according to physician orders and standards.
• Provide direction to non-licensed personnel in direct client care and unit operation.

Job Duties

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operation of the unit.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:: $39 USD - $45.21 USD
