Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide direct nursing care under physician orders in a behavioral health setting in California. You will supervise non-licensed staff and ensure adherence to care standards.

Current CA LVN/LPT licensure, CPR and First Aid certifications, and experience in mental health nursing are preferred. Compensation includes comprehensive benefits and a pay range based on skills and acuity.

Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) | Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

Job Duties

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:: $34.50 USD - $39.99 USD
