Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a part-time LVN or LPT to deliver direct nursing care under physician orders at our San Luis Obispo campus. The role includes supervising non-licensed staff and ensuring high-quality client care within the unit.

Ideal candidates hold California LVN or LPT licensure, have nursing theory knowledge, and are capable of supervising teammates. CPR/First Aid certs are required; mental health nursing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in California as LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise in clinical settings.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Title:

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) | Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

Job Duties:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit.

Schedule:

• Part-Time & On-Call: NOC

Qualifications:

• Current licensure in California as LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:: $40 USD - $46.37 USD
