Job summary

The Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our compassionate team. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will provide a full range of nursing care to residents.

Responsibilities include admissions, rounds, medication administration, and supervising unlicensed staff. Must have CA LVN/LPN licensure and excellent communication skills; PCC experience is a plus. We offer competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active LVN/LPN license to practice in California.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Conducting daily rounds to observe residents’ status.

• Monitoring care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Maintaining confidentiality of resident information.
• Promoting a culture of safety in the facility.
