Lancesoft seeks Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contingent, part-time contract role at a Fort Worth, TX location. The position pays $34.00–$37.15 per hour on W2 and involves 7–10 hour shifts, with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

The role requires acute care experience (Primary/Urgent/Emergency) and EMR proficiency, preferably Epic. Training and orientation precede the six-week scheduling blocks in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing.
• Minimum of one year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Evaluate complex patient conditions, monitor pain levels, and document treatment responses.
• Apply advanced knowledge of vital sign monitoring to identify and record abnormalities.
• Perform routine assessments to monitor patient health and overall well-being.
• Manage patient access to healthcare and connect individuals with resources.
• Conduct medication reviews to identify potential side effects and interactions.
• Develop and administer mental health assessments to screen for depression and evaluate mood.
• Document patient medical history using electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
• Keep a clean, organized clinic and ensure supplies are stocked.
