Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a 13-week assignment in Texas, offering $43 per hour with no travel reimbursement. The LVN/LPN provides nursing care under an RN, executes orders, gathers data, and performs therapeutic procedures in an age-appropriate manner, in line with PAM Health policies.

Required: current LPN/LVN licensure in-state, BLS, and IV certification if required; 1 year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required.
• BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• The LVN/LPN is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies.
