Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for a 13-week local assignment in Texas. The LVN/LPN will provide nursing care under the direction of an RN, perform procedures, and report data according to hospital policies.

The ideal candidate holds current LVN/LPN licensure in the state (or compact licensure), current BLS, and will obtain AHA-approved BLS within 90 days. Inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold LPN/LVN licensure in the state or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under RN direction on the unit.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, perform procedures as needed.
• Ensure patient care is age- and population-appropriate per policies.
