Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a 13-week assignment at a rate of $50 per hour. Responsibilities include nursing care under an RN, data collection and reporting, and performing therapeutic procedures per policy.

Experience preferred but not required; candidates must hold current LPN/LVN licensure in their state, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as LPN/LVN in the state or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required; AHA approved within 90 days.
• IV certification within 90 days if state regulations require it.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report patient data and carry out orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures appropriate to age and population.
• Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures and guidelines.
