Qualifications

• Holds current LPN/LVN licensure in the state or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV Certification within 90 days if state regulations require it.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report patient data and follow orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures as directed and appropriate to patient age.
• Adhere to PAM Health policies and procedures and participate in care planning.
