Job summary

The role requires a valid LPN/LVN license in the state (or compact), BLS (AHA approved within 90 days), and IV certification if required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical or vocational nurse license in the applicable state or a compact license.
• Current BLS certification; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
• 1 year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
• Gather and report data.
• Carry out orders and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
