Qualifications

• Current LVN license in California (or compact license for out-of-state work).
• Minimum one year of nursing management experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Experience with Point Click Care charting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in Quality Improvement Program implementation.
• Uses Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admissions, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications and treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
