Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires active LVN license in California.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience desired and PCC charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admissions, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely and per facility policy.
• Receives and carries out physician orders, where allowed.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
