Job description

Hourly salary ranging from $28-$35

Maxim Healthcare Services in Orange County, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to be responsible for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care. The LVN will perform duties according to nursing standards, managing patient care and assisting in the coordination of care.

We are currently hiring for multiple shifts including mornings, afternoons, overnights, and weekends. Interested candidates can contact Gerald Ley directly at (714) 542-2400.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Conduct focused interviews to identify patient needs.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document nursing diagnoses.
  • Perform other LVN duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current LVN license in the practicing state.
  • Current health certificate (per facility requirements).
  • Current PPD test or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One year of LVN experience preferred.
