Management & Training Corporation’s Texas Civil Commitment Medical Center in Littlefield, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a full-time 2pm–10pm shift. Pay is $30 per hour with a $5,000 signing bonus and comprehensive benefits supporting health and work-life balance.

As an LVN, you will document care, assist providers, ensure HIPAA compliance, and respond to emergencies under supervision. Requires Texas LVN licensure, CPR, and a valid Texas driver’s license, plus regular attendance

Qualifikationen

• Nursing degree and active LVN license in Texas or compact state.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year nursing experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must obtain and maintain facility security clearance.

Aufgaben

• Assist with provider line; prepare examining room and equipment.
• Document nursing care accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Assess and treat clients with illnesses or injuries; refer to ER as needed.
• Observe client behavior and triage with proper documentation.
• Assess conditions under RN direction and make treatment recommendations during sick calls.
• Perform basic emergency medical aid and assist with evacuations.
• Operate pill call; dispense medication and document per policies.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and equipment; follow sanitation practices.
• Attend staff meetings and promote effective communication within the medical unit.
