Qualifications

• Must hold current LVN license in CA.
• Certification as DSD by California Department of Public Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation, educational and learning opportunities for staff.
• Assist personnel in gaining necessary skills for resident care.
• Schedule CNAs and oversee nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Direct the infection prevention and control program.
• Provide nursing support using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Communicate lab and diagnostic results to physicians and monitor patient changes.
• Ensure patient safety and care standards.
• Perform other LVN duties as assigned.
• Schedule AM, PM, and NOC shifts/ rotations.
