Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Texas or a state recognizing reciprocity via the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Current active LVN license required or eligibility for compact licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, treatment and welfare for individuals with complex medical, mental health or behavioral health needs.
• Perform basic and complex nursing tasks to support medical needs within the assigned shifts.
• Collect specimens for lab work and conduct health screenings.
• Instruct staff on how to provide services and care.
• Perform nursing procedures in accordance with facility and state regulations.

HOPEWELL STAFFING is sourcing candidates for a CONTRACT LVN in the SAN ANGELO, TX area.

• STARTING AT $50 per hour - 40 hours per week
• Current Open Shifts: (2-10p and 10-6a)
  • LVN/LPNs – 3 available positions
  • 40-hours/week
  • Monday – Friday for the first 4 weeks then a rotating schedule with every third weekend off.
  • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (includes unpaid lunch break) for the first 4 weeks then 2-10 or 10-6 whichever shift they are assigned.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

Highly complex vocational nursing work.

Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individualswho have complex medical, mental health and/or behavioral health issues.

Performs basic and complex routine and non-routine nursing tasks to promote the health of the individuals within the assigned areas and assigned shift.

Collects specimens for lab work and performs health screenings. Instructs direct support professionals and other staff on how to provide service and care that support the individual’s medical needs. Performs technical nursing procedures according to facility and state regulations.

Other duties as assigned.
