Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health in El Paso, TX is seeking an LVN Consultation Nurse to support clinic operations under the Clinic Manager. You will handle incoming calls, generate specialist consults, and ensure accuracy of consult orders in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with TX LVN license.
• Minimum of 1 year administering medications, preferably with geriatric patients.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required; strong communication with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Answers and documents all incoming clinic calls and gathers data.
• Processes and tracks all specialist consult orders generated by the PCP.
• Receives returned consultation paperwork and reviews with PCP for approval.
• Transcribes approved consults into EMR to create new orders for PCP co-signature.
• Coordinates consults with staff and prepares pre-procedure care such as meds and labs.
• Audits consult orders daily and corrects missing information.
• Communicates with specialist offices for prep instructions.
• Reviews daily lab results and medications before presenting to the PCP.
• Reviews daily X-ray results and provides to Participant Managers.
• Conducts monthly medication reviews for assigned participants.
• Provides coverage for Medication and Treatment nurses.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager.
