Job summary

Genesis PrimeCare in Texarkana, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our clinic team. The LVN delivers nursing care, administers immunizations, and prepares patients for examinations while documenting vital signs in the EMR to support providers and patient flow.

The role requires an LVN degree, an active LVN license (TX or AR), and CPR (BLS). Preferred: 1 year of direct patient care experience. Genesis PrimeCare offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current unrestricted license from the Texas or Arkansas Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners (applicable state to assigned clinic location) to practice as a licensed vocational nurse.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Professionals Certification (BLS) required.
• One (1) year of practice experience as an LVN giving direct patient care (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care and administer immunizations.
• Prepare patients for examinations and document vital signs and health information in the EMR.
• Assist providers to ensure optimal patient care and flow.
• Coordinate and delegate referrals, prescribed medications, and other patient needs.
• Maintain medical supplies, medications, and equipment; ensure accurate care documentation.
