Job summary

Men’s Health Foundation seeks a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team in Los Angeles. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote health and well-being for men at risk.

The LVN will triage calls, assist with PrEP/PEP outreach, and contribute to achieving inclusive, stigma-free healthcare. A CA LVN license and BLS are required, with vaccination proof on day one.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid license as a nurse (LVN) in California.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Proof of Flu and COVID-19 vaccination on first day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Administers medications and draws blood samples; starts IV access if certified.
• Triages patient calls and messages; documents in medical records.
• Supervises workflow of Medical Assistants under Nurse Manager.
• Ensures clinic runs efficiently and on time.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and ensures non-judgmental, respectful care.
