Job summary

Men’s Health Foundation is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a full-time role in West Hollywood, CA. The LVN will manage individualized patient care, collaborate with physicians, and support a diverse patient population.

The role involves administering medications, charting, and following California nursing standards. Ideal candidates have a CA LVN license, BLS, two years of LVN experience, and a commitment to inclusive, nondiscriminatory care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California LVN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum two years’ direct patient care experience as LVN.
• Experience with HIV/AIDS care or related chronic diseases is preferred.
• Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and flu vaccination as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care following the patient care plan and physician orders.
• Administer medications, draw blood, and establish IV access if certified.
• Coordinate with Nurse Manager and Medical Assistants to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Triages calls and messages; supports patient outreach for PrEP/PEP.
• Maintain accurate charting and patient confidentiality; uphold infection control policies.
