Park Manor Humble in Humble, TX is seeking an experienced LVN Charge Nurse for a 2–10 pm shift. You will oversee nursing care, supervise CNAs, and collaborate with physicians to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in good standing.
• 1 year of nursing experience, long-term care preferred.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and react decisively in emergencies.
• Strong supervisory and training abilities.
• Good problem solving and independent thinking.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the nursing unit and coordinate personnel, supplies, equipment and facilities.
• Review staffing patterns and census to meet residents' needs and budgetary controls.
• Manage care following admission/readmission; conduct initial assessments.
• Assist in creating and implementing care plans addressing residents' needs.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, gastronomy tube management and wound care.
• Monitor residents and communicate changes to physicians.
• Maintain medical records for safe, efficient and therapeutic care.
• Investigate complaints and resolve problems as necessary.
