Lakeside Special Care, a Generations Healthcare facility, seeks an LVN to join its Special Treatment Program Unit for behavioral residents. New grads welcome, with shifts PM or NOC, full-time position and competitive compensation ($40.00-$43.00/hr DOE).

The LVN will provide direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day activities in a secured unit. The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, psych/behavioral experience a plus, and commitment to high-quality care in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• At a minimum, 1 year of experience in a psych and/or locked or secured facility or hospital setting.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and guidelines for care facilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to behavioral residents in the STP Unit.
• Supervise and assist day-to-day nursing activities of Mental Health Specialists.
• Ensure care aligns with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to maintain the care regimen.
• Participate in facility inspections and complete required documentation and plans.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents and complete required records.
