Job summary

The Maples Clinic is looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This position supports day, night, or PRN shifts to provide comprehensive nursing care in a behavioral health setting.

As an LVN, you will perform basic patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document care accurately while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Prior behavioral health experience and Texas LVN licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active LVN license in Texas.
• Minimum 1 year LVN experience; behavioral health experience preferred.
• BLS certification; Crisis Intervention certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Administers medications as ordered and monitors effects.
• Prepares patients for exams and procedures.
• Collects specimens and assists with procedures.
• Educates patients on self-care and discharge instructions.
• Maintains accurate and thorough clinical notes and documentation.
• Communicates clearly with the healthcare team and patients.
• Ensures compliance with medication management policies.
