Wellpath is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our correctional health team in California. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and participate in safety and clinical protocols within a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1+ year clinic experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state employed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning in accordance with Nursing Practice Act and policies.
• Administer medications and implement medical plans as directed by clinicians.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety through established protocols.
• Implement nutrition and therapeutic diets and assist in procedures as needed.
• Document nursing encounters and communicate with healthcare staff.
