Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Engineer to help shape the Marine Corps’ live, virtual, and constructive training environments. You will translate real-world needs into technical specifications and lead the design and development of integrated simulations that fuse software, networks, and hardware for mission readiness.

This role requires knowledge of distributed simulation standards, security clearance, and experience with Joint C4I systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as a JTAC or with Battalion-level fires.
• Knowledge of HLA and DIS protocols.
• Knowledge of Joint C4I tactical systems incl. Link 16, GCCS-J, USMC C4I including AFATDS, C2PC, CAC2S and JADOCS, or Army Mission Command Systems.
• Knowledge of the principles associated with creating virtual and constructive environments.
• Knowledge of networks and networking concepts.
• Ability to utilize network and distributed modeling and simulation tools such as Wireshark, Redsim, SIMDIS, or RTI-s.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with distributed modeling and simulation, or 5+ years of experience with distributed modeling and simulation in lieu of a degree.

You Have:

• Experience as a JTAC or with Battalion-level fires


• Knowledge of distributed simulation protocols such as High-Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS)


• Knowledge of Joint C4I tactical systems such as Link 16, GCCS-J, or USMC C4I, including AFATDS, C2PC, CAC2S and JADOCS, or Army Mission Command Systems


• Knowledge of the principles associated with creating virtual and constructive environments


• Knowledge of networks and networking concepts

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
