Job summary

ABB in Mebane, NC is seeking a production assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will perform assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products, read diagrams, use hand tools, operate shop floor equipment, and ensure quality throughout the process.

You will work onsite, lift up to 40 lbs, and follow SOPs in a clean, safe environment; prior manufacturing experience is preferred and you must be eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, grinders).
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs safely.
• Authorized to work in the US for ABB.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and panels per diagrams and instructions.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams for assembly.
• Perform tasks manually or with light hand tools.
• Operate shop floor machinery and equipment.
• Carry out regular quality testing within production processes.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow SOPs.
