Job summary

ABB is hiring for an onsite assembly role in Mebane, North Carolina. You will conduct various assembly tasks to produce semi-finished or final products, following technical diagrams and using hand tools on the shop floor. You’ll perform quality checks and maintain a clean, safe work area as part of standard procedures.

Qualified candidates will have at least a high school diploma and 1 year in manufacturing. You should be able to lift up to 40 lbs and safely use ladders when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams/instructions.
• Able to use light hand tools and basic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels.
• Read and interpret diagrams/instructions for assembly.
• Use manual tools and light machinery on the shop floor.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of production processes.
• Maintain clean work area and follow SOPs.
