Job summary

The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa in Houston, TX seeks an on-site Part Time Room Attendant to perform turndown services in designated guest rooms during the evening. This role supports maintaining the luxury standard with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include refreshing bathrooms, restocking minibars, preparing rooms for turndown, and reporting maintenance issues through established systems. Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping or hotel support preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Basic English for communication; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform turndown services in designated guest rooms in the evening.
• Refresh bathrooms by replacing towels and wiping surfaces.
• Fold clothing left in room and place in appropriate spot.
• Remove room service trays and carts to service landings.
• Restock minibar items with clean china and cutlery.
• Remove garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom.
• Close drapes, adjust lighting, and prepare bed.
• Report maintenance issues to Engineering through designated systems.
• Add special touches to guestrooms to enhance guest experience.
• Prepare unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests.
• Perform full Room Attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-outs.
• Vacuum, sweep, or mop in guest rooms and public areas.
• Work harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors.
• Additional duties as assigned.
