Job summary

Mercedes-Benz USA is seeking a Product & Technology Communications Junior Associate Consultant to gain hands-on experience in public relations for a major U.S./global brand. You will support in creating press materials, distributing news, and coordinating media events as part of a small PR team.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates or Master’s students in Communications, Marketing, or Business, with a strong interest in automotive and technology.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates are detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Background in PR, journalism, marketing or communications principles is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide preparation and logistical support for domestic and international media events.
• Collect and analyze media coverage.
• Create and edit articles and texts for press releases and other channels.
• Assist with press fleet ordering and overall fleet inventory management.
• Help process press inquiries, prepare Q&As and briefings, and support PowerPoint presentations.
• Curate and improve database efficiencies.
• Other tasks as assigned.
