Job summary

kate spade new york is seeking a Store Supervisor to support store leadership by creating a customer-first, high-energy sales environment. You will drive store productivity through team coaching, goal setting, client development, and adherence to brand standards.

Acting as a brand ambassador, you will lead by example on the sales floor and elevate service and selling behaviors. As brand ambassador, you will oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, inventory and omni-channel initiatives

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• Comfort with omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.

Responsibilities

• Sales & KPIs: Drive personal sales and lead the team to achieve targets; analyze metrics and implement best practices to improve results and efficiency.
• Client & Service Excellence: Build client relationships and ensure exceptional in-store and after-sales experiences; drive repeat business and VIP retention.
• Leadership & People Development: Coach the team, support recruitment and onboarding, and provide feedback to leadership.
• Operational Excellence & Compliance: Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS operations, and inventory integrity.
• Omni-Channel, Digital & Data: Drive omni-channel and live-shopping initiatives and promote data capture for loyalty.
