Job summary

Lake Austin Spa Resort is seeking a full-time on-site Reservations Specialist in Texas. Responsibilities include answering calls, booking reservations, processing gifts, and advising guests on spa services during their stay. Proficiency with Opera/Book 4 Time and MS Office is preferred.

• Comfortable speaking with guests while navigating multiple computer systems.

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: experience in reservations, hospitality, hotel, spa, or call center; Opera or Book 4 Time experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist guests with booking reservations.
• Process gift certificate orders.
• Quote rates, explain packages, and confirm appointment availability.
• Accurately enter reservations using Book 4 Time and Opera.
• Assist resort guests with scheduling spa services during their stay.
• Respond to guest questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Recommend additional spa services and activities when appropriate.
• Coordinate special requests with other departments as needed.
• Prepare and send reservation confirmations, brochures, enrollment letters, and other guest correspondence.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Process online reservation requests.
• Confirm upcoming appointments and reservations by phone.
• Stay informed on current promotions, packages, and resort offerings.
• Assist the Sales and Marketing department with special projects and data collection.
• Work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and guest service.

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position.

Schedules are provided one month in advance and rotate monthly. Weekend and holiday availability are required.

Operating Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Compensation

In addition to hourly pay, this position is eligible for a commission program based on guest arrivals.

Commission is paid bi-weekly.
