Job summary

Austin Proper Hotel and Residences is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to provide luxury spa treatments to hotel guests. You will tailor sessions to individual needs and maintain a serene, hygienic spa environment.

Key duties include guest consultations, performing Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy and other massages, and collaborating with spa staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Minimum spa experience and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
• State or local licensure (if applicable).
• Previous experience as a licensed massage therapist, preferably in a spa or hotel environment.
• Knowledge of various massage techniques and therapeutic benefits.

Responsibilities

• Consult guests and customize treatments.
• Perform Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, sports, prenatal massages as requested.
• Maintain health, hygiene, and safety protocols for spa treatments.
• Provide excellent guest service and ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Prepare treatment rooms, restock supplies, and maintain a hygienic environment.
• Collaborate with spa professionals to ensure seamless guest experiences.
