Job summary

Loro Piana in Chicago is seeking an Operations Associate to support all inventory and store operations. You will manage shipments, replenish stock on the sales floor, and organize the stockroom to maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities include overseeing merchandise movement from stockroom to sales floor, conducting cycle counts, auditing product conditions, and coordinating with couriers to ensure timely delivery. Experience in luxury retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operational and inventory experience.
• Luxury retail experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory flow and streamline operational processes while handling the accurate processing of shipments and transfers.
• Oversee the movement of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to align with sales potential.
• Conduct cycle counts as per corporate calendar to verify product quantities and report discrepancies in a timely manner. Perform regular audits to verify product conditions.
• Facilitate the implementation of security measures through inspections, audits, and preparing products for display.
• Ensure ongoing inventory organization according to company procedures and establish an optimized warehouse layout for improved accessibility by the sales team.
• Maintain clean, neat, and organized stock rooms with proper labeling to facilitate sales.
• Maintain effective communication with the operations team and external couriers to ensure accurate shipping procedures and timely delivery.
• Provide the sales team with detailed updates regarding inventory availability to support the sales process and enhance sales performance.
